About Us
I'm Thomas Woodrow, producer of films that have screened at Sundance, SXSW and Venice, among many others. I founded Redwood Post to bring producer-level creative supervision to post-production — where most filmmakers are left navigating multiple vendors and technical workflows without a guide.
The Problem
You finish principal photography and suddenly you're managing four or more vendors—editorial, sound, color, VFX. Four bids, four schedules, four creative conversations that may or may not align with your vision (or each other). If your director doesn't speak fluent post-production (and many don't), you're trying to translate creative intent across technical disciplines you may not fully understand yourself.
The Solution
Redwood Post gives you a single creative supervisor who speaks all the languages—editorial, sound, color, VFX—and can translate your vision across every discipline. You get one bid, one timeline, and one contact, who maintains creative consistency from first cut to final delivery.
I may execute work personally or direct a curated team depending on scope, but the creative supervision remains constant. You're not managing vendors. You're working with a producer who ensures every technical decision serves your story.
Why remote?
Modern workflows make geography irrelevant. What matters is who's guiding the work and whether they understand your creative goals. You get access to top-tier talent and tools without facility overhead—which means more resources on screen, less spent on infrastructure you don't need.
